Which SAP Solutions are HIPAA Compliant
Hello All
We have started to work on a implementation on the US east coast and the client wishes to determine which parts of her existing system she can replace with SAP.
They do a lot of work with the Healthcare industry and would like to know which of the SAP solutions/modules are HIPAA Compliant (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Have tried to look for a matrix of what is and what is not but cannot find.
We are aware that Ariba is not compliant but not sure of other solutions e.g Business one , BW etc etc.
Can anyone shed some light on this in all.

Recording Running Issue in SM35
Dear All!
I am facing a problem while doing recording through SM35 for Hospital Management System standard Transaction code
NV2001 for creating new visit and giving the parameters Patient Number (PATNR) and INSTITUTION (EINRI) which is
customized, But while entering start buffering and unable to open next screen (visit creating screen) and It is taking time more than 30 minutes against this tcode while Recording is running fine for other standard tcodes and It is not taking more than 3 seconds.
So Kindly give me some proper solution.

BP DEBTOR - IC HC FIELD
Good morning,
I´m trying to create a bussines partner debtor but I find a problem because It doesn´t create de IC HC field. These are the steps I done:
. Create the debtor in TX FD01.
. Automaticaly the BP debtor create, but without IC HC field.
¿How can I create a IC HC field in a BP debtor that already exists?

Reverse / Re-run NCO1 - Activity allocation from IS-H
Hi All,
NCO1 transfers activity for procedures that have been performed on patient cases to our Case based internal orders in CO using the entries in NCOB to determine the quantity of activity to allcoate. After running NCO1, our business has decided that they wish to change the allocation method for some of the activities and re-state the previous activity allocations.
E.g. 10 units of Activity type A are allocated to case ALX1234 at a planned rate following a surgical procedure. The allocation calculation for this procedure has been updated and the procedure now needs to allocate 15 units of activity type B. The business wants to re-calculate the activity that has been allocated in FY 2014 with the new activity type.
Is there a way to reverse the activity allocations that were made with NCO1 then re-run it after updating the entries in NCOB?

Global Location Number
All,
We are using SAP ECC 6.0
I am trying to find out where I can assign a Global Location Number to our company or Plant.
I understand I can assign the GLN for our Vendors in the Vendor Master , Control data section (Loc1, Loc2, check digit)
I also understand I can assign the GLN for our Customers in the Customer Master , Control data section (Loc1, Loc2, check digit)
I am just not sure how or where I can assign our own GLN to our company and plants
Any help would be appreciated?
Also, are we on the right version for the GLN functionality?

Document Number Field Issue in Different Server
Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in t-code NP41. Some fields are missing in different server. In dev 500 server suppose we have 10 field in intial screen. But in Dev 600 server we have 8 field. 2 fields are missing. Please guide me how to resolve this issue

Contract schemes exclusion items
Hi Gurus,
I have a question regarding contract schemes behavior:
there us a note that when contract schemes contain more than one item, the system processes the items in accordance with the ranking order specified independently of one another.
Let's assume that the following items belong to contract scheme A in this example:
Whe have: -A service group LAB containing 2 services Lab A and Lab B
-service DTC
-Service DRC
Item 1: Laboratory examinations services of service group LAB (service lab A and service lab B are members of this service group LAB) are not covered. All other services are covered in total to 70%.
Item 2: Service DTC is not covered. All other services are covered in total to 100%.
For the case described in this example, on the basis of item 1 the system only takes into account the services DTC and DRC when calculating the relevant prorated service charges. On the basis of item 2, the system takes into account the services DRC and the laboratory services LAB A and LAB B. As a result, the services DTC, DRC, LAB A and LAB B are invoiced in whole or part to the insurance provider, even though services at item level are excluded from coverage.
so , what is the ideal way to construct the contract schemes item to operate in a dependent manner .. i.e. to get services LAB A , LAB B , DTC excluded from insurance provider share

SAP for billing and accomodating third party payer in Healthcare/Medical Equiment Industry
Hi All,
Pardon my limited knowledge on the topic .I am new to this side of SAP
The scenario is that we are getting started with a client who is involved with delivery of medical equipments to hospitals ,nursing homes etc. Client is also involved in providing equipments and services to individual patients through third party payers. Business runs on SAP for order fulfillment and account. However ,billing is being done through a non sap application. Also SAP is not configured to handle third party payer requirements such as pre-authorization, utilization review and authorization to bill.
I came across module patient management while searching on how we can accommodate SAP for third party payer. Is this the only option or we have an alternative solution here?
Also please advise on how SAP can be configured for billing as well.

Experience with upload of patient pictures to Patient Management?
Hi,
does anyone have experience with uploading patient pictures (taken during admission) to Patient Mgmt? We have a concrete project requirement to have a picture included in the patient summary. This shall increase patient safety and reduce errors related to decisions based on wrong patient data.

Sale price of material in depend on an insurance company.
Dear all,
On our project we use the billing using default material service. To maintain a sale price of a material weu2019ve created a condition table with one field u2013 material (material ID - MATNR). It works correct. But we need to store different sale prices of material in depends on an insurance provider (customer). To do it, weu2019ve tried to use the standard conditional table u2013 305 and weu2019ve tried to create own conditional table with the same fields as in the table 305 and it havenu2019t helped us u2013during an insurance verification process the system generates a price of service at cost 0.
In these both cases we've done the same steps, but in the last one the pricing procedure doesnu2019t work.
Has anybody faced with such issue? Has anybody used a conditional table with more than one field?
Could you please tell me what have you been doing in this case?

MM integration
Hello,
I am now requesting if someone has experience with integrating a stock consumption with IS-H? Any thing will be helpfull. We are planning in showcasing a vaccination (via case movement) to an article consomption. I see that there is an option to manage the consomption within the case, but each time I do so, I get a message that the article value is not setup?. Documentation is more than scarce in this area.
