Reverse / Re-run NCO1 - Activity allocation from IS-H
Hi All,
NCO1 transfers activity for procedures that have been performed on patient cases to our Case based internal orders in CO using the entries in NCOB to determine the quantity of activity to allcoate. After running NCO1, our business has decided that they wish to change the allocation method for some of the activities and re-state the previous activity allocations.
E.g. 10 units of Activity type A are allocated to case ALX1234 at a planned rate following a surgical procedure. The allocation calculation for this procedure has been updated and the procedure now needs to allocate 15 units of activity type B. The business wants to re-calculate the activity that has been allocated in FY 2014 with the new activity type.
Is there a way to reverse the activity allocations that were made with NCO1 then re-run it after updating the entries in NCOB?

Which SAP Solutions are HIPAA Compliant
Hello All
We have started to work on a implementation on the US east coast and the client wishes to determine which parts of her existing system she can replace with SAP.
They do a lot of work with the Healthcare industry and would like to know which of the SAP solutions/modules are HIPAA Compliant (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Have tried to look for a matrix of what is and what is not but cannot find.
We are aware that Ariba is not compliant but not sure of other solutions e.g Business one , BW etc etc.
Can anyone shed some light on this in all.

Transaction NCOB performance
Hi All,
I have a large number of entries (300,000) to make in transaction NCOB (Table NLAZ) in order to link our hospitals & Processes to CO activity types and quantities.
the number of entries is so large as my company has 40 hospitals with at least 2 wards and around 2000 procedures, each of which generates 2 or more activity types.
Does anyone have an efficient method for generating these entries in to NCOB? Also going forward the business will want to be able to maintain the data in this table as processes become more efficient, is there an efficient way to maintain the data?
I'm currently using an upload to generate a few thousand records at a time, but this is taking over an hour for each load. (looks like i will be working all weekend at this rate!)

Handling HL7 messages in SAP EP
Hi all,
In our requirement we have to communicate from EP to external system, which follows HL7 standards.
We found two alternatives these are as follows:
1.HL7 Iway adapter
2.SAP conversion agent.
Is it possible to make our own adapter to convert hl7 to xml?
If yes,
What will be the required resources for that?
Can we handle this approach (without SAP XI) with help java/j2ee?
Please provide required information (any pdf, conversion tools, and sample code) and also guide us how to handle this scenario. Your help will be great for us.

is-h certification
Hello all SAP IS-H/i.s.h.med consultants,
As you are probably aware there is no way to be certified in this area, however I believe all of us are interested in it to get an official confirmation that we are experts (or not 
).
Here you can find several topics about the certification, all of them say - SAP doesn't provide a certification for SAP for Healthcare. I've heard from my colleagues the reason is not enough requests for that. I sent a query to SAP in this regards and got the same response.
But I can not believe that there is no enough SAP IS-H consultants in the entire word who would like to be certified. I thought if we communicate with each other, we could understand what the average amount of us and then we can request SAP for the certification letting them know that we are 30 or 40 (for instance).
So, my idea is you leave your email ID here in comments or send me an email on alexander.polevoy@me.com where you mention that you are interested in it.
Let us see how many we are and finally try to get SAP certification. I find it very important for my career, hope you too.

Document Number Field Issue in Different Server
